Dr. P. A. Picone, V.M.D:


Dr. Picone grew up in Newark, New Jersey.  He attended Rutgers University before a four year enlistment in the U.S. Air Force.  He is a 1974 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University and a 1978 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.

After graduating, Dr. Picone became an associate then a partner at Audubon Veterinary Associates.  At that time, the practice was owned by Dr. J. Simmons.  When Dr. Simmons retired, Dr. Picone took over the practice.

Dr. Picone enjoys staying current with veterinary medical advances, as well as horseback riding, American history,  gardening and cooking.  He and his wife have two sons, 3 horses, 3 dogs and numerous cats.




Dr. Gorman joined Audubon Veterinary Associates in the fall of 2009 after working for 3 years at a small animal hospital in Southern New Jersey.  She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006.

Originally from Chester County,Pennsylvania, Dr. Gorman and her husband have since moved to South Jersey with their son (Brady), and 2 dogs (Alli and Fonzi) and cat (Samson).  Dr. Gorman's areas of interest are internal medicine with focus on endocrinology, ophthalmology and behavior.
